You know what, I don't have to say it.

emryldlady, she of the SUPER EPIC AWESOME, said it beautifully. Right here, basically everything except Matt Smith & Amy I agree with 110%.

I don't want to hear wank about what John said or the whole Ianto thing. I've said my piece about what I think of CoE and RTD, I've washed my hands of it. For all I care, RTD & his crappy CoE can go rot in the same place my stupid ex is rotting, which is no where near my thoughts.

Now, I'm gonna go back to writing some epic awesome Ten and Donna fic, because I refuse to believe that's all the time those two traveled together, because Donna is just way too awesome for that.

Day 27 – An Episode You Wish Hadn’t Been Made

Does Torchwood count? Cuz I wish all of series 3 hadn't been made. Poorly written absolute trash. :(

For Doctor Who... there's really not much I don't like to be honest! "Love and Monsters" is about the only one I really don't like, and even that one has some redeeming qualities (like Moaning Myrtle... I forget the actress' real name but when she opened her mouth I was like "OMG MOANING MYRTLE!").

Day 20 – The Character Who Is Most Like You

Hmm that's a tough one. I'd have to say Toshiko. Whenever I take those "Which Torchwood character are you?" quizzes, I get either Jack or Tosh or sometimes half & half (I srsly did in the one from the magazine). I tend to be quiet when I'm not in cosplay (I used to be worse! Most of y'all didn't know me when I was little miss super shy), and I'm pretty good with computers. Not Tosh level of genius, but I have managed to disassemble and reassemble a laptop and have it still work afterwards ;)

Day 18 – Whatever Tickles Your Fancy

Hmm... well since today (well, technically yesterday now) was Big Finish Day and I splurged on four Doctor Who audios from them, let's make this a Big Finish post! I'll talk about some of my faves, and if you like Big Finish please tell me what ones you think are good so I have ideas what to grab during the next sale or at Chicago TARDIS!

Hello everyone!

ETA: Less than one week to go! PM me if you need a contact number to call, especially if you think you'll be running late.

I'm putting a post here in my journal to spread the word about an idea huskyfriends and I have been batting around. We love spending time getting really awesome photos of cosplay (like when we spent time with adistantshadow at Wizard World, that was fun!) and we thought, why not make a day of it and get a big group together to get photos at some great locations we know of. I've been to a few gatherings organized on the Anime Central forums, like the Acen Aftermath Photoshoot in 2007 where at one point we had around 50-60 people walking en masse around downtown Chicago. It's great fun!

So, we would like to create a Whoniverse cosplay photoshoot gathering on Saturday, October 24th, 2009.

So....who might be interested in coming? Characters? We've already started brainstorming and we have a load of great ideas already but the more the merrier! Pass along the word, we'd love to have a great big group. Any and all Whoniverse costumes are welcome and also non-cosplayers are welcome too. I'd love to have multiple photographers come along to this. Comment away! :D
