Hey everyone!!!

The photos from the photoshoot that Nick took are uploaded!!

His website is The Enthusiasts and there's a great shot from the WTTW sign on the front page, with a link to the full gallery.

I'm just skimming quickly but WOW these photos are some of the best cosplay shots I've gotten! :)

I really can't wait to see what comes out of Carole's camera. (hers we have to wait, film takes longer!)

Now, I go change out of costume :) but thanks everyone for coming, I can't wait for the next one!!!!

Some of those pics are so freakin' adorable! You crazy kids, you...

(So, from the book she was reading, WAS that Tonks magically appearing among you guys and cosplaying various characters?? Where's her magic wand!)

Also as I was browsing it occurred to me that if the 10 in the black suit lost the glasses and changed shoes, his hair would just by itself be great for Ianto X3

No, that was "I had a gig last week that I needed pink hair for" idiot me. :) (Would have blacked it up with something, and will for halloween, but I didn't want to get my Four scarf messed up, it's a... trial, to wash...)

And we should have Iantofied the extra Ten, lost opportunity for some "don't call me Teaboy, Zombie-Breath" pics there... :)

Teaboy, Eye Candy...Zombie-Breath, Weevil-King...they both get some pretty good nicknames there, don't they! If I had been there I totally would have pulled his glasses off and chucked him at ya when the lab coat came out ^_~ Err...that sounds so violent, maybe I would have just made the suggestion verbally, ahehehe...

(I liked my idea of Tonks appearing to join in the cosplay fun but enjoying pink hair so much she didn't want to change! Especially backed up by your book choice, that was amusing)

And, ugh, I bet the washing isn't the hard part so much as the drying...though my assumption is that you can chuck it in the washing machine on gentle and air-dry because that's what I would generally do with a sweater, but if you have to hand-wash it then big yikes!!

Yeah, the Tonks story is a good retcon, kind of why that was the book I went after... ;)

And the Good Four Scarf (as opposed to the Old Four Scarf, which was in my bag in case of... emergency) is a very nice proper wool, so it doesn't go anywhere near heat+agitation. And it's nearly as long as my condo, so it's kind of inconvenient to lay out to dry in the cold weather... :O

Let's just say that if I laid both scarves out (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2029/2376518241_1446e500b2_o.jpg) end to end down the long axis of the basically L-shaped plan, I'd have to go outside and take the picture through the bedroom window... Which I might actually do for fun some time, since it's a garden apartment and I do have that option. ;)

I had a blast, but my actors almost missed me, having a bloody show and all. Not good when the stage manager is nearly late to call, but I wasn't! (To quote them, when they called because I am usually so early: "We need you, we are lost without you.")

I am dropping my photos off tomorrow (you know... film and all) and will have them by Wednesday at the latest. I can't wait either.

I do believe we will have another one, probably in April, maybe March, we'll see how the winter goes, might be June if it was anything like this year.
