Blue Gillespie rocks!
Dec. 27th, 2008 05:34 amOkay, I'm a little overtired and hopped up on Starbucks (working thru my second Venti whole milk hot chocolate), but I had to blab about Blue Gillespie!
So, those who know me probably know that there really isn't much that sounds like BG on my iPod, it's full of more classic rock and musical theatre, etc. But I love Torchwood, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gareth David-Lloyd because he is an amazingly talented actor, and Blue Gillespie is his band so I of COURSE started following them. And when they offered up limited edition signed copies of their EP, well of course I ordered one. :D It came yesterday and I just listened to it. It's really pretty good, not something I would have normally found on my own, but I kinda like it. So totally does NOT sound like Gareth, tho! Wow! He sounds so different singing on these songs. Just makes me even more in awe of him.
So anyway.....before I head off into incoherency, I wanted to add this -- DEMAND Blue Gillespie come to Chicago! Please please please! (I put 60634 for the zip code cuz I can't remember Rosemont's but that's right next to Rosemont)
