Firefly group at Wizard World Chicago this Saturday!!

The plan!!

Okay, so pockychopstix and I have limited time there on Saturday, she has to be out by noon to get to work, I have to be out by around 2:45 at the latest to get to a family party.

The plan is to get our group photos with The Enthusiasts done early, at 10 am. Nick is going to try to hold that slot open for us. He'll work for tips so we were thinking $5 a person? Plus he'll be selling prints. 4x6 for $5, 5x7 for $7, 8x10 for $10 and 13x19 for $20.

So shall we meet by the escalators in the lobby area (the ones that lead up toward the hamster tunnels) at 9:45? Or maybe a little earlier for last minute adjustments? Sound like a plan?

If you're going more than one day, its still not too late. Really all you would need is a jumpsuit, since you look like her. At least I think so. I just had all these great picture ideas in mind and without Kaylee I can't do them. *sadface* That's all.

We insist that your costume not have any parts or accessories that can readily cause harm to you, or any of your fellow con goers. No real weaponry (live firearms, sharp blades, etc.) may be carried. An Airsoft prop is allowed ONLY if it is legal to carry in the city/state/town that the convention is being held in, there are no BB's loaded into it, and there is no battery installed, or gas loaded. Blaze Orange Tips for Airsofts are required in many states, so be sure that you comply with local laws. No parts of your costume can fire, spray, shoot, or ignite. Your costume must be appropriate for all ages. Basically, use common sense. Yeah but the debate is, it says Airsoft ONLY if it's legal in the city where the con is. Are Airsofts okay in Rosemont? I know they're verboten in Chicago but what about Rosemont? Or do I need to go make a new holster and grab a Nerf gun?

In all seriousness, I get off work at 830. That means I get home and need to shower and groom myself and change and get to Rosemont and find parking all within an hour. I'll do my best.

You need me to give you a fast route and parking tips? ;) Honestly, that early you shouldn't have a problem over in the main Rosemont parking garage. I'm trying to think of a quick route... do you have a fast way to North Avenue? Cuz you could take North Avenue to 1st Avenue (where Kiddieland was), make a left, then jump on to River Road at the next light (take the left fork) and shoot up that to the parking garage, which will be on your left.

I'll txt Naomi and see if we can push it back a little but she has to be out by 11 and Nick's squeezing us in so I don't know how doable it is. But do your best! :)

INFORMATION!!
Guys, unless someone says otherwise, please be on the side of caution and leave the airsoft rifles at home.

We might get away with them in theory, but what if someone catches the picture Nick took of us with them in an area that's not allowed to have them? HE could be the one that does not get asked back to rosemont. >.< Just something that I thought of. Abiding by Acen rules I think is best...please.

Otherwise I'm still coming as River. :3

Carole's going over there tonight to help with bag stuffing and I told her to ask. If all else I'll just use my holster since it's about the right size. :)
