Hmm... I think I'll point to a couple of my favourite internet places to talk Who :)
For knitting geeky stuffs:
TARDIS-Tara's website is the best place, IMO, if you're doing a Doctor Who scarf. I much prefer her yarn recommendations to those on DoctorWhoScarf.com. She also has some other interesting things :)

who_knits is a great community, and has a group on Ravelry too! There's also Dr. Who Scarf Support Group, I Dye for Doctor Who, and Dr. Who-ites on Ravelry. :)
Great communities:
I spend way too much time onwho_knits but there's also dw_cosplay and crafty_tardis. Those are my top 3 LJ comms. There's also brb_gallifrey for all your crazy crackish discussions, tardis_day for our annual celebration of Who :), tardis_bigbang for wonderful novel length fics, and tw_cosplay for more cosplay fun.
