knitchick1979: Drawing of Philip from Kamen Rider W transforming with the Heat Memory. (Default)
I'm reading the introduction to the 22nd edition of Dewey Decimal Classification for my cataloging class and the following instruction passage just made me giggle:

Likewise, class a work on the De Havilland 98 Mosquito (a specific British World War II fighter-bomber) in the number for fighter- bombers 623.7463 (not 623.7463094109044, the number for British fighter-bombers in World War II).

I guess it's mostly because I had Jacqueline flying a Mosquito in my story "Days of Future Past: Wistful World War II" but still, how's that for a long Dewey number? :D

I still need to work on my TARDIS Big Bang stories (anyone want to read/comment/make suggestions/crack the whip/wave pom poms for me?) and post up about the super awesome bachelorette party from the 5th! :)

But for now...back to reading about Dewey so I can get this over with :D

  • 03:03 @booksavvy : YAY! I'm getting so excited, Acen is going to rock this year! #
  • 03:04 Now that I have discovered what happens when a Peep is exposed to flame, it's time to get some sleep. Homework to do tomorrow! #
  • 14:10 Playing the Twitter speed-typing game at fast140.com - How fast can you type? #
  • 14:52 @RLadao : Well I think there's still a few Japanese guests that haven't been announced yet, too. There's actually a good list this year. #
  • 16:49 @britgeekgrrl : I'd have to go with "Destiny of the Daleks" for old, and "Utopia" for the new. Though it's really difficult to choose! #
  • 18:45 I need a title and a Britpicker for my current TARDIS Big Bang fic. An alpha or two and a second beta couldn't hurt either. :) #
  • 19:48 Bejewled is too addictive. I should be doing homework or writing my TARDIS Big Bang but rather I've earned a 50K medal instead. #
