Writer's Block: The tenth time's the charm

Ghostbusters.

Seriously, one day I was bored out of my skull and I started from the librarian walking through the stacks and mentally played the movie through. I was just past the "Fire and brimstone coming down from the sky, rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Dogs and cats, living together, mass hysteria!" lines when I realized what I was doing and scared myself.

I know Ghostbusters II slightly less well. But enough that every time I see the Gainsboro's Blue Boy painting I have a giggle fit. (the bathroom in Mary's Attic where ARFTCo's been doing their TV reruns has a replica of Blue Boy. Yes, I cracked up when I saw it.)

Vhy am I dripping vis goo?

One of our many moves involved a flat where the cable company hadn't caught on that the last tenant wasn't there anymore... We had free cable for, like, a year, and I swear that all that was ever on was Ghostbusters II and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Not the best incentive to get around to paying for their damn service, no. Although I did end up with long stretches of both more or less memorized...
