Whoniverse Photoshoot -- FINAL SCHEDULE

Okay gang! Carole and I took some time tonight to work up a full schedule.



This is the full itinerary! Again, this is still subject to change (if we decide to spend more or less time at one location, etc.)

9:00 AM: Meet up at the Starbucks on Higgins in Rosemont.
This Starbucks is at 9500 Higgins Road, Rosemont IL 60018. Carole will be there around 8, I'll probably arrive around 8:30 or so.

10:00 AM: Leave Starbucks and head to Wright College. Parking is free in the parking garage there. Wright is at Narragansett and Montrose in Chicago. The full address is 4300 N Narragansett Ave; Chicago, IL 60634-1500. The parking garage is accessed from Montrose.

11:00 AM: Leave Wright College. This is when we'll take our lunch break, we will decide when leaving Wright if everyone's going their own way or if we're making a group descent on some poor unsuspecting restaurant. :)

12:00 PM: Arrive at Northeastern Illinois University. The official address is 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL 60620 (yes I typed that from memory), and we'll be meeting by the parking garage at the back of the campus. Best way is to come up Foster, turn onto the Access Road (which has no name), and after the double bend you'll see the parking garage and the permit meter is on the ground level. It's $5 for a one day pass, or you can try and find parking on Bryn Mawr. Then we'll just meet in the little space between the parking garage and the library building (which is right on top of it).

2:00 PM: Leave Northeastern and head to Dominican.

3:00 PM: Arrive at Dominican University, 7900 W. Division, River Forest IL 60305. Again, parking is by permit. I'll be able to park anywhere but everyone else will have to park in the guest parking circle at the front of the school or try and find street parking on Division.

4:00 PM: Leave Dominican and head into Oak Park for dinner.

4:30 PM: Meet at Flat Top for dinner. Flat Top is at Oak Park Ave & Lake St. in Oak Park; 726 Lake Street; Oak Park, IL 60301. There is metered street parking along both Oak Park and Lake Street, but be very careful since some of the meters on Lake across the street from Flat Top are 15 minutes ONLY until after 6 pm. There is also a parking garage further down Oak Park Ave, south of Flat Top (head south on Oak Park, turn left BEFORE going under the tracks at the light, then turn left almost immediately into the parking garage) -- those are 1st hour free, and under 3 hours will only be about $3. Flat Top Grill is pretty reasonable, about $3 for your drink (unless you get booze) and $14 for unlimited trips to the grill. If you have a student ID, bring it, you'll get a dollar off!

6:00 PM: Carole has to leave us to go stage manage a show. At this point there are a few options:


~Go see Carole's show, "Theatre of Souls" which is not far from Flat Top (1010 Madison, Oak Park). The promo code "PROFOUND COMA" will get you a half price ticket, only $10! (that works til the end of the run, not just for this Sat)


~Go see something at the Lake Theatre. If you have that student ID you can get a $6.50 ticket for whatever's playing.


~Wander Oak Park, plenty of window shopping!


~Go home.

Also -- we had an idea for a group shot, we'd like to get all the characters sitting in a group reading. I've got a bunch of books that I'll be bringing (like, Scavengers in Space, the book Jack's reading in the episode Meat) but please, bring something you think your character might read! Don't forget to bring extra costume pieces, props, anything you might want or think you'll need! :)

Above all....let's have lots and lots of FUNNNNNNN! :D



Again, please spread the word to anyone you think might come! Open to anyone in the Chicagoland area, and no, you don't need to have a Doctor Who related cosplay to join us!

Sorry about that, I've been attempting to get homework done and I haven't been opening the IM programs because of that. I'm so behind in what I need to get done for this class it isn't funny....

I'll be wearing Five. Now, I can probably save time and just come straight from work and change in a stall, but that means I may not be at my freshest. We'll see how that goes, lol!

It was part of the original plan, but looking at actual scheduling and traffic considerations, we had to scrap that location for this shoot.
