International Cataloguing practices survey

Hello!

For my final project in my International Librarianship class, I am trying to get an overview of how cataloguing practices differ in other countries. This poll will be up until midday Wednesday 9 December (since I present on this Thursday the 10th). I appreciate your help on this!!

[Poll #1495151]

Forgot to mention, we do not participate in OCLC's worldcat, but we ARE part of something called Libraries Australia which I believe has a lot in common with worldcat.

Yes, um, I dunno what the OCLC's WorldCat catalogue is, so I put no, so I might be really wrong.

Also, what the heck does all of this mean?

Oh, and I thought I answered all of the questions?

Do I have to post them here?

Um, this is a survey for my class, just for people who are catalogers in other countries (because my project is focused on cataloging practices).

I answered 'yes' to participate with OCLC however, Libraries Australia has an agreement with OCLC where Libraries Australia provides records, holdings etc to OCLC. So the libraries participate indirectly.

Libraries Australia incorporates national bibliographic data and works similar to world cat.

I'd be curious to know what you find out! Will you post your findings?

Ditto here (Libraries Australia)
Except I answered 'No'
