Peep dioramas!
Okay, so a little less than a week ago a link was posted on one of my lists to the Peep competition over at the Chicago Tribune. Of course I had to try and enter!

So, the first thing I thought of was that lovely Journey's End group shot, with Sarah Jane, Mickey, Jackie, Rose, the Doctor, Martha, Donna and Jack. But I wanted to put my TARDIS bank in there (it's just about the right proportion to the Peeps!) so I modified things a bit.
I started by covering a big tray with foil and green saran wrap to make a grass floor of sorts. :) Then I settled the TARDIS in place (it's actually taped down so it doesn't shift around)
I had my reference image up on Ianto's screen (and Jack's just hanging out by Ianto, pouting cuz I took his gun).
I got five varieties of Peeps: pink bunnies, blue bunnies, yellow bunnies, brown bunnies, and traditional yellow chicks.
I started by making the Doctors. I added red gel pinstripes to Hand!Doc, and blue gel pinstripes to the regular Doctor.
Donna of course gets a purple shirt, Rose has her purply jacket, and Jackie has her blue jacket. Mickey is wearing a black jacket with a red shirt underneath while Martha's in black with a lot of hair (in contrast to Mickey's lack of hair....what? They're peeps! It's hard to make them really accurate!)
Sarah Jane is wearing her warp star around her neck, while Jack is ready to fight with his Webley in hand.
Donna gains some hair (I might have gone a little overboard with her hair).
Part of the team ready to roll!
Of course, what's Doctor Who without some Daleks?
The Doctor and his family gather around the TARDIS
And then are set upon by Daleks!
Now some closeup shots of the final scene:

Jackie, Rose, and Hand!Doc (with a Dalek lurking behind them)
Sarah Jane, Doctor, and Donna
Then, I had some Peeps left, a lot of Peeps left actually, and a good amount of royal icing left, so I decided to throw together the Torchwood team too.
Owen, Gwen, and Jack:
Jack, Ianto, and Tosh:
I messed up on Tosh's glasses, and Ianto's tie is a bit sloppy but not bad for about 3 am ;)
So that's my insane geeky creative output for the night!!

That's BRILLIANT. So much glee! ^_^
Pinstripe!Bunny!Doctors are especially made of Win. As are the Peep Daleks.
(And I love how a Peep bunny can be turned into Ianto merely by the addition of a tie . . . rather like the meme of turning anything into Dr Wilson by adding eyebrows and a tie. ^_^)
