Yoinked from [ profile] paxieamor as usual ;) And of course for me, this counts as a birthday & Christmas wish list since my birthday is coming up too!

Step One:
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered…whatever you’re comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun (“I’d love a Snape/Hermione icon that’s just for me”) to medium (“I wish for _____ on DVD”) to really big (“All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.”) The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it’ll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two:
- Surf around your friendslist (or friends’ friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here’s the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Sometimes someone’s trash is another’s treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you won’t use—or even know where you could get someone’s dream purebred Basset Hound for free—do it.

You needn’t spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn’t to put people out, it’s to provide everyone a chance to be someone else’s holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not—it’s your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just…wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you’ll have the joy of knowing you made someone’s holiday special.

1. Anything from my Amazon wish list.

2. An iMac desktop, cuz poor Ianto (my MacBook) needs a break once in a while ;)

3. External hard drives (Mac compatible) for all my videos (the two I have are getting quite full)

4. A Nikon digital SLR (that can take the interchangable Nikkor lenses I have from my film SLR)

5. Lots of cool Christmas cards, I love getting creative ones from friends!

6. A proton pack or slime blower for my Ghostbusters costume :D

7. Crocheted (or even sewn) plushies of the Doctor (4, 10, or 11), Donna, Amy, Rory, Captain Mal Reynolds, Jayne, Wash, Dr. McCoy, or Scotty. I'm a diverse geek!

8. Help making my Romana and Nyssa costumes!

9. Donations to my Relay for Life team, Team GEEK, help us exterminate cancer! More team members would be fabulous too!! (feel free to join even if you can't be there the night of Relay, your fundraising still counts!)

10. For all my friends to have their wishes granted too! :)

Of course, feel free to PM me for my snailmail addy if you need it! And go ahead and swipe this meme too ;)

Always willing to help with 8 - I could even put you in touch with a seamstress aunt of mine; she made Q robes for me one year :D

Oh that would be awesome! I think I have Romana figured out. Mostly. At least the coat part (it's all cut out, just need a day or two to sew it), but the pants I may need help figuring out how to modify the pattern.

But Nyssa I have *no* clue where to begin!

Nyssa, I'm completely stumped on. Romana, if you could send me the intended pattern and what it looks like now, I could ask around.

I'd love to help with #9 (though any donation would probably come after Christmas) I'd really enjoy being a team member; the local teams around here tend to be business, school/college, or religious, none of which are groups I fit with.

Apologies for the random drive-by comment; I enjoyed your TBB story "Kiss Her Goodbye" and occasionally wander over to see if you've written anything else for the series.

Our Relay isn't until August so donations at any time would be appreciated! We have a diverse mix of teams at our Relay, some business, some groups of friends. It's a fun Relay :)

I'm glad you enjoyed "Kiss Her Goodbye" :) I've been a little swamped with schoolwork so I haven't gotten any writing done lately but I'm hoping to get some more written on break if the muse allows. Though my friend [ profile] huskyfriends has written a couple of stories with my characters if you're interested in more!

Relay for Life really is fun. I'll try to donate, when I can. Heck, I'd even love to participate! Team Geek sounds like my sort of team.

I can relate to not having time to write. I'll be sure to go over and check out your friend's stories, especially since I'll have some free time coming up!
